Teaching Dance

As an assistant professor of dance at the University of Michigan, School of Music, Theatre & Dance, and on faculty since 2009, I offer masterclasses and private dance coaching for dancers of all levels.

I have enjoyed choreographing for productions such as Oklahoma! and Annie at The Encore Musical Theatre Company, and others.

Movement has been the unifying thread of my career, shaping both my artistic and professional pursuits.

With 24 years as a professional ballet dancer and my current role as an assistant professor of dance at the University of Michigan’s School of Music, Theatre & Dance, I have devoted my life to exploring movement and its relationship to the body.

Beyond dance, my work extends into exploring holistic well-being. As a Mayo Clinic-certified and National Board-certified Health & Wellness Coach, with certifications in personal training, Pilates, and Essentrics, I collaborate with clients on a journey of self-discovery—unlocking strength in the body, mind, and spirit. Movement is more than an action; it becomes an integral part of who we are. My approach harnesses movement as a powerful tool for personal growth, resilience, and overall well-being.
