The Entrepreneur, the Professional, and the Warrior

By Amy West

The most important thing about art is to work. Nothing else matters except sitting down every day and trying.”~Steven Pressfield, writer

Within each of us live three dynamic inner forces: the Entrepreneur, the Professional, and the Warrior. When we invite creativity to weave through them, we unlock clarity and momentum.

The Entrepreneur is your inner spark-starter; bold, curious, and full of “what ifs.” This self dreams of new ways to live, move, and grow. Whether it’s launching a passion project or reimagining healthy habits, the Entrepreneur creates from possibility.

The Professional brings consistency and care. This self shows up, not just when it’s easy or exciting, but when the real work begins, and when resistance shows up. The Professional values mastery, process, and discipline.

The Warrior protects what matters most. Courageous and grounded, this self sets boundaries, speaks from a place of truth, and keeps going. Creativity shows up as adaptability, resilience, and the art of getting back up.

Through all of your inner selves flows your creative energy, not just the kind that paints or performs, but the creativity of living well: solving problems, building routines, and reimagining what’s possible.

Ask yourself:
– What is my Entrepreneur dreaming into being?
– How is my Professional shaping that dream?
– Where is my Warrior being called to rise?
– How can I let creativity guide and unify them?

Today, do one thing that feels playful, intuitive, or out of your comfort zone… even if it’s a small step. Creativity isn’t always flashy. Often, it’s knowing the Warrior has your back.

“He who conquers himself is the mightiest warrior.” – Confucius

Stretching alongside you,

Amy
